Easy DIY Quick Sew Holiday Projects

All our projects are FREE and now on the website.

Have you been following Fabric Editions on Facebook?  We hope the quick videos inspired you to create something wonderful for your home, family and friends. I’ll be sharing the videos and links to the directions, starting with my favorite “Mini Pillows”.

One fat quarter (18″ x 21″) and a pack of three iron on appliques is all you need. Sew by machine or hand and stuff.

So easy, pile on a little side chair or bench.  If you have time, get creative!  Add some scented filling –  cinnamon, clove, or balsam pine scents. Tie with a fabulous ribbon for a gift. Fill a vintage basket with mini pillows, add some pine cones or greenery.  Send home with your traveling family, the 8″ size makes a nice little nap pillow. Full instructions for Mini Pillows here.

Looking for a Christmas stocking free pattern?

We have one right here:  Holiday Stocking Free Pattern.   Check out our video to see how we put the stocking together.  It uses just one yard and is self-lined.  The polar bear applique is in the 3-pack of iron on appliques.  We cut the name using a digital cutter and the iron on glitter sheets. I hope this is your go-to stocking pattern for a long time – it will always be free!

The fusible appliques, iron-on fabrics and pre-cut fabrics are wonderful to sew and craft with.  They’re all out in the stores now so look for them soon!
