Last Minute Christmas Tree Garland
Fabric Palette is Decking the Halls with free patterns!
After busy days of shopping and cookie baking, spending a few minutes in the sewing room with fabric is so relaxing. We have two free projects to inspire you to make some time for creativity! This cute ribbon garland is one of those quilty little projects you can create, crafting one tree at a time, in those quiet moments. The free pattern is here for our Christmas Tree Garland on our website.
It’s all about the fabric, so if you’re inspired by traditional prints like these, or fresh contemporary brights, use what you like! To cut your own shapes, measure a base of 5″ and height of 5″. Use traditional or contemporary prints for your garland. If you’re in the U.K., you may find pre-cut Fabric Palette triangles in Christmas designs for the trees.
If you have a little more time, try our strip-pieced gift box. Lined with fusible batting and interfacing, it will keep it’s shape when holding a gift. Afterwards, it will be handy for collecting pine cones or keeping mittens organized.
All projects were made with Fabric Palette fabrics, sold at Hobby Lobby, AC Moore, and Meijers.
Love these! (and love the fabric!) thanks for sharing.
