Happy Labor Day Weekend

Are you ready for one, last, wonderful summery picnic? We are!  A long Labor Day weekend is a great time to get outdoors with family and friends. Take a break from your work week and back-to-school excitement to do something fun outdoors, like a picnic!  Here we used our simple fat quarter napkins to make our picnic festive.

Simply cut into 18″ squares and press a 1/4″ to the wrong side twice to make a finished hem. Use 1/4″ fusible hem tape or  Elmer’s School Glue then press to hold those small edges in place.  Top stitch the hems around all sides to finish. We love the red, white and blue prints this year.  You’ll find them at AC Moore, Walmart and Hobby Lobby. Look for bundles of five at JoAnn’s, too!
