March Madness & Quilt Giveaway

We may be having a bit of March madness, but this beautiful pineapple quilt is in need of a good home, so we’re giving it away over on Facebook!

Way back in January in Phoenix, our CHA booth shared fabric ideas with the crafting world. It was fun to show our fresh needlework, appliques, and fabrics to the crowds. The fresh modern quilt design showed off our quilting talents and received lots of attention.

The quilt is digitally printed, something we can do last minute with our favorite print studio. The fabric design was printed on cotton broadcloth. It measures 58″ x 88″ and was a created by a collaboration of in-house departments.  There’s cotton batting inside and quilting cotton on the back. It’s a real quilt!

It was long-arm quilted in a fabulous all-over fan design. Our pro, Carol Alperin said she really enjoyed working on the whole-cloth quilt and even hand bound it for us! Don’t you love how she added some pops of color to the binding?
