Celebrating Summer Sewing

Thank you to all our followers and visitors for celebrating July with us!  We had so much fun putting together weekly giveaways for you. Congratulations to the winners!  We want to add one more giveaway to keep you sewing this summer – this time there will be six winners! Our Land of Whimzee Baby Applique Blankets will be back in JoAnn’s in all-new designs, but right now we have a set of each of last winter’s designs to give away!

Fabric Editions’ has so many creative kits and beautiful fabrics, but sometimes they sell so quickly that they’re gone before you get to shop.  Time flies when you’re sewing or quilting, doesn’t it?

So if you missed these kits the first time, here’s your chance to see how sweet they are.  In October, I’ll show you the new ones here on the blog and on Facebook, too.

Every piece is soft cuddly flannel. There are three kits to make the quilt up. You sew together the pack of squares, iron on the pre-fused shapes then applique them down, and then sew to the backing.

Add a few quilting touches and you’re finished.

We also made up fat quarters, 18″ x 21″ coordinated prints for extra projects that you may have in mind. Our free pattern for Dots the Giraffe was a favorite.
