Needle Creations is now at Hobby Lobby! Creative needlework is growing, and we’re excited about it! Embroidery is being embraced by a new and creative generation. Here at Fabric Editions, we’ve been designing embroidery and needlepoint with a modern flair. Rachelle Anne Miller‘s artwork is featured in our three Needle Creations kits. The ABC quilt panel is baby sized at 30″ x 36″. For something smaller, two hoop projects are 11″ prints with the cutest turtle and hedgehog for you to embroider! Here’s a peak inside:
Creative Embroidery –
Embroider as much or as little as you like. Use the stitches you enjoy. Use the printed artwork square for a decorative pillow, or wrap the hoop with the fabric included for sweet wall art. Stitch on the cloud or musical note buttons – they’re in the kit. You’re the artist, so you get to decide!
So what is in the Embroidery Hoop Kit? Well, simply everything you need! Printed fabric, needle, floss, instructions, hoop and wrapping fabric. Even two buttons to embellish the finished piece. Because everything is included, it’s a great project to take along on a trip, especially those long car rides.
Pillow Art –
They work up into really cute pillows, too! Sit them up on a shelf for a bit of soft sculpture. Fill the base with something like dry beans, and you’ll have a prop for Teddy Bear.
Quilt It –
The Quilt Panel is an alphabet and sweet, cuddly critters design. Use your own choice of bold or soft colors to embroider. In the panel kit, floss isn’t included. Back with soft flannel for a light blanket, or quilt batting and backing for a snuggle quilt. Full instructions to stitch and finish with a simple pillowcase turn are given. Tie, hand or machine quilt to finish this 30″ x 36″ quilt.
Stitch as much as you have time for, using simple embroidery stitches. It’s so relaxing to stitch a little at a time, just highlighting what tickles you! We’re putting together beautiful artwork and inspired embroidery into DIY kits. Right now they’re new at Hobby Lobby, in the embroidery aisle, where you’ll find floss, embroidery hoops, and needlepoint.
You can visit Hobby Lobby soon to pick up your own, or stop by our Facebook page to enter a drawing. We’ll draw three names to win a kit and get you started on embroidery. Good luck!
