The fabric is 100% cotton, just like you’d use for quilting. We added 18” x 21” fat quarters in matching prints so you can make some fun headbands, bangles, or little handbags. Cute Little Dress Boutique Fabric Quarters to look for:

The dress sizes are flexible, the dress length is 25” so you can trim 3” off for a size 2, or add ruffles for size 7. The shoulder casing also lets you adjust to lengthen even more. The dress is loose fitting, perfectly airy for summer, or to pop over a tee and leggings for cooler days.

So how do you decide? Stella is a little BoHo in pink and green paisley, with rows of ruffles on the sides for kick-up-your-heels fun.  Brooke is summery nautical, in navy and white anchors with pink sailboat pockets and crisp stripes.

Charlotte looks like a day in the country with fresh red, white and blue prints!Charlotte KitCrop

Lily is a summer garden look with updated roses and rows of girly ruffles at the hem. Callie has large bright daisy flowers with a trendy ruffle, ribbon and tiny bow trim. Here is Harper – a trendy Western design in coral and turquoise, with simple patch pockets. Perfect for your cowboy-boot wearing princess!HarperKitCropThe instructions are pretty easy to follow. You’ll need to iron and top stitch the edges to make the casing and shoulder ties. Some designs have gathered ruffles or pockets, so you’ll have to make two or three simple cuts.   If you have basic sewing experience, you can do this!

Dress kits are in the stores and right now all six LDB dress kits are on line!  Hope you’ll go over to our Facebook page and enter  the Giveaway.  Good Luck!

How do you make the armholes smaller and decrease the width for smaller sizes? I have 4 of the kits and trying to sew them in different sizes. Help

First, I would hem the armholes and baste the side seams. Try the dress on WRONG side out so you can pin or mark the sides.Don’t try to make the dress fitted – it’s supposed to be loose! To make the arm holes smaller and dress shorter, trim the top only an inch or so, or double up the casing so you can let it out at a later time. The fitting information on the instructions will give you an overview of all the adjustments. Enjoy!
