Fabric Iron-on Sheets – DIY & Video
The Fabric Expressions iron-on sheets are so easy to work with! Today we’re sharing our brand new and super-quick video to inspire you to create something personalized.
The fusible is on the fabric sheets, so you just trace your design, cut out and iron down. If you like this cute summer baby bib and tee, download and print our Turtle and Beach Pail pattern – it’s free!
Press the iron-ons for 30 seconds. I like to protect my [expensive] iron, so use a pressing cloth [actually, just a piece of muslin] down on top of the shape. That really secures the fabrics. If you plan to wash the bib a lot, some stitching will go around the shapes, just to hold it on through the wash and dry cycle. Stitch by hand, or use the sewing machine with a zig zag stitch.
Sold at Hobby Lobby right now in a pack of six 8″ x 9″ squares. Soon you’ll find them in Meijer’s stores. The selection is terrific – you’ll find a color for every project!
